Residential gates

In fact, this new version has been recently revised and updated to meet the needs that the ns. Customers have told us after the presentation of the first series took place in the year 2006. The new gate, like the previous version, covering the range of automatic closure from 3 to 5.8 meters. in length, up to a height of 1.60 meters. . To this regard, please read carefully the technical data, since the above-mentioned lengths correspond to trade measures of the gates, which differ from the actual width of the passage gap. Refer to load chart and verify the voice LP, ie the net Light Passage. We will indicate below all the major improvements made to the new gate to the already valid previous version, because we are convinced that the ns. product now can meet almost all the demands of the market. The first improvement was introduced to subtract to view the hydraulic cylinder of the lift gate, to make the line more modern and attractive finished product. Now the cylinders are double and opposite, and the same is the braking of the end-stroke been improved both in opening and in closing. The same was done in a completely hydraulic manner, not doing so use of electronics; all to the advantage of ease of maintenance and reliability in time. We have also reviewed the whole backbone of hot galvanized steel mainly for two reasons: the first to house the entire hydraulic and electronic elements within the column itself. This particular position then allows for easy maintenance. The second reason was that instead of being able to derive from the gate itself is also a hydraulic road barrier from 10 mt. in one wing, the only product on the market. The latter is a deeply felt need in industry, in fact, many companies have the need to close their entrance gates with vertically opening gates, but at the same time during the opening hours (so the gate is open), have the need to regulate the flow of traffic with a road barrier, which is faster the opening compared to the same gate, and which ensures at the same time a very heavy duty.  

Linear movements and low costs

One of the many peculiarities of hydraulics high pressure, in addition to great strength, in fact, is to allow a much more linear movement of the rod relative to the rod of road barriers to electromechanical drive, which very often have to be forcibly offset by springs . Also on the new gate, it was specially designed and patented by SMOES, even a new device called Pro-Link (optional). The same has the function during the opening of the gate to prevent the crushing of the limbs. This device, completely mechanical (therefore absolutely reliable), allowed us to use the very normal standard photocells instead of those in more expensive and sophisticated barrier, as in the previous version. All of this has brought benefits in ease of installation and especially as regards maintenance, which now no longer requires highly specialized labor. While seeking to limit to the maximum the production costs of ns. product, we opted to keep as in the previous model, all of bronze bushings hubs. That we continue to ensure maximum reliability.   Since the beginning of year 2012 will also be a version with traditional auctions iron with spikes, to better adapt to the rustic buildings, and also a paneled version fully enclosed with horizontal rods. The latter was found to be aesthetically very successful, because it was built a revolutionary anodization wood auction effect (optional) which gives it a very nice look. As part of the search for maximum customization, all ns. products can be painted in the RAL color required by the customer. N.B .: the previous version of the vertically opening gates still will not come out of short production, as it lends itself more easily to realize erase from 1.60 up to 2.00 m. of height.

Gate with vertically moving leaf, characterized by at least one leaf with an upper supporting beam applied on a main support in order to be able to rotate on a horizontal axis and by a lower supporting beam applied on the same main support and moving parallel to the upper one dragged by a set of rods applied on the two supporting beams.

The gate works with rotatory movements by the upper supporting beam, one or more hydraulic cylinder fixed with specially provided pivots on the central column. Those cylinders are activated through a high pressure and double effect oil-hydraulic power unit (270 bar). The last one is activated by a single-phase electric motor (220 V) with 0.55 kW power or more for the Residential Version and 1.1 kW for the Industrial Version. In order to guarantee the gate’s working even in case of power failure, we installed a manual pump (also oil-hydraulic working) able to open and close the gate in case of emergency. All the control parts are inside a galvanized steel box or inside a masonry niche made on purpose by our buyer. The gate’s anchorage on the ground has to be ensured by two specially provided galvanized steel mounting plates, down in reinforced concrete whose dimension are due to the soil typology where the gate has to be installed. The gate’s structure has to be realized in galvanized high-grade steel and subsequently treated with liquid or ground paint in RAL colour, chosen by our clients. The vertical or horizontal axes can be realised both in aluminium and in steel. All the articulated joints have to be equipped with bronze bushes and self-lubricating pivots. The gate’s length (measured on both columns’ ends) has to be: XX meters. (max. 5.75 meters for the Residential Version and max. 10 meters for each leaf of the Industrial Version) The rods’ highness from the ground has to be: XX meters. (max. 1.60 meters for the Residential Version and max. 2.50 meters for the Industrial Version) The entire gate has to be certificated in accordance with the law EN 13241-1. Its wind resistance has to be at least the Class 4 (EN 12424). The gates have to be supplied with the following accessories: – Certified electric control unit – Radio Receiver Card – Flashing light – Key Selector for a manual opening and closing – N.
