As already mentioned in the describing section of the Vertically Opening AVANT Gate’s “Residential” Version, starting with the same project, we realized an oil-hydraulic traffic barrier allowing the closure of passages up to 10 meters length.

This need arose first of all because we wanted to furnish our clients a traffic barrier that can be combined with our 10 meters long gates and guaranteeing – in the meantime – its functioning with integrated system. In fact, especially in the industrial field, many companies need to close their entrances with a Vertically Opening Gate but in the meantime require a traffic regulation with a quicker traffic barrier during the opening hours (when the gate is open). This traffic barrier results to be faster both in the opening and closing process compared with the gate.

Furthermore we found out that in many other situations – on the contrary – you need to block the access on large passages only for the vehicle’s traffic, in particular inside industrial areas. To this purpose you can find on the market electro-mechanical traffic barriers able to satisfy these requirements. But their big disadvantage is that they are very cumbersome, expensive and unsuitable to an intensive use.

Our traffic barrier is the perfect combination between power, solidity and reliability on the highest level, with a low encumbrance and – last but not least – to a really competitive price. Another distinctiveness is given by the adoption of the breaking system both in the opening and in the closing process.

The high-pressure oil-hydraulic together with highly advanced electronics are unanimously the best what technology for automatic closing systems is able to offer.

Important: all traffic barriers are not considered as gates for all purposes (regulations EN13241-01) and may not be used to protect areas subject to insurance coverage against theft.
As part of the search for maximum customization possible, the traffic barrier can be painted in the RAL color required by the customer (optional).

Traffic Barrier with vertically moving doors, comprising a longitudinal member pivots on a base in hot-dip galvanized steel, which allows the same to rotate up to a max. of 98 ° around a horizontal axis. This spar can be achieved with one or more aluminum telescopic rods for door leaf lengths up to 7.50 meters. , While must have a hot core in tubular galvanized steel and combines with aluminum rods always placed laterally to it, for leaf lengths up to 10 m. . The intended use is classified into: very intensive. Max. Opening: 1012 seconds. (N.B .: upon specific request the opening time can be changed)
The actuation of the said spar of the road barrier, must take place with the aid of one or two hydraulic cylinders mounted on a rocker place inside the base. Said cylinders must be controlled by an oleodynamic unit at double high-pressure effect (up to 250 bar), driven in turn by a single phase electric motor (220V) with power of at least 0.55 kW.
On each of these cylinders must be designed with a mechanical adjustment that allows auction of the barrier, in the presence slope possible, to align themselves parallel to the road axis (± 4 ° max.).
All pivoted parts must be fitted with self-lubricating bronze bushings and pins.
The operation in case of lack of electricity, must be guaranteed by a manual double-acting pump (always hydraulic), able to open or close the barrier itself in such emergency situations.
Of said road barrier should be fitted end-built electromechanical race.
The electronic control unit may provide the following optional: cycle counter, diplay LCD operator, gate option lightweight / heavy gate.
Always such an electronic control unit must provide for the possibility of manual operation “deadman” via key switch, which especially in the closing phase, is able to by-pass any anomalies present on the photocells installed.
All the controls must be contained in the supporting base in galvanized steel.
The anchor of the road barrier on the ground must be secured with appropriate counter-galvanized steel, drowned in the casting of concrete properly verified.
The painting of the supporting structure of the road barrier can be the RAL color chosen by the client.
Supplied to the road barrier must also be provided with the following accessories:
